Cecil was distraught, and refused to say why in his letters. In person, he was so jittery and uncomfortable that he couldn’t get a full sentence out. Instead, he led Kain to his chamber and cracked open the door. Curious, the dragoon peeked; his jaw dropped as he beheld the Queen of Baron in the throes of passion with an equally recognizable young summoner.

"Uh." He blinked at last when Cecil closed the door. "Okay."

"Okay?" The king gestured, near again at a loss for words. "Not okay. What am I supposed to do about… about that?"

"...ask to watch?"
